use pocketmine. pocketmine is a server for minecraft PE with a plugin api (it can support plugins). It can also support multiple worlds and commands (ban,op,etc) and plugins can also add more commands too.

So to get the server just go to pocketmine.net then click get pocketmine. then download & use the installer. It will set everything up and give you the needed files.

Then run your server using start.cmd then type stop after it has launched in the command prompt window.

Then too add plugins put the .php file in the plugins folder (Go to the pocketmine forums to find some which is at forums.pocketmine.net).

Then too make it public you will have to forward your server port, it is different for every router but it look up on google, something like:
"how to portforward to minecraft for (router name) (ex.belkin)"

On the tutorials it will say to use the port: 25565. Dont use that, use 19132 (Thats the default pocketmine port, you can configure it in the server.properties file in your server folder. Edit the file with something like notepad ++)

Once thats complete you wanna connect to it right? Ok lets get to that. On MCPE click play, then click edit, then click external. Call it whatever, but where it says address you type in your ip address. if u dont know what it is then go to ipchicken.com and just put in what you see. For the port keep it at 19132 (or whatever you changed it too in the properties file) then hit add server.

Once your server is running you can then click on the server and get connected. If you have any problems or questions you can just message me.

Thats all there is too it.

Need Steps for Mac? Currently, these steps do not work with the mac. I have a server of my own, and I have a mac to. Go To The Wiki to download the correct files for pocketmine server setups. Find out your ip address on whatismyip.com if you need it. Use pocketmine for further instructions. Using plug=ins? Type AS EXACTLY as spelled or will not work. -Python

All servers currently use Pocketmine. Even if you use ServerCrate, you are using Pocketmine because server crate hosts Pocketmine servers.

It's not "binding" to my IP address, and how exactly to I get it public? And how do I make it so I'm owner because I can't delete blocks..

If you have Android and want to host a server without rooting or jailbreaking simply go to the play store and search droidpocketmine and install the one that says pocket server. Then install the version you want. 1.3.10 for 0.7.6 and 1.3.9 for 0.7.5. Go to the text folder in the droidpocketmine folder called server.properties. You can edit your servers properties there. Then, when your done, click start server and at the end of the servers list in Minecraft PE, click the blue one because thats your server! If you want to advertise your server and do not know the ip google search whats my ip and the first result should be your public ip is <ip>. The port is whatever you put it on the server.properties file and your done! If you want to play on my server the ip is 67.239.128.145 and the port is 19132. Hopes this helps you!
